Multiple Crews Respond to Fire Near Hitterdal

Another big fire broke out in Clay County around 1 o’clock this afternoon about five miles west of Hitterdal.

You can see the gusty winds fueling the flames and helping the fire spread.

Crews from Felton, Hawley, Hitterdal and Ulen responding to this blaze.

It started to spread after another structure started on fire.

Thick smoke could be seen for miles.

It was mostly contained by around 2:30.
