Woman Trapped in Storage Shed Sets Record Straight

A woman who was stuck in her Fargo storage unit for three days last week is speaking out and wants to set the record straight.
Lori Jamison was trapped in her Bison Storage unit Tuesday to Friday last week but she wants to make one thing very clear— she is NOT living there.
Jamison has been between apartments since the end of February and staying with friends until her new apartment becomes available.
She was in her storage unit looking for a few things on Tuesday.
While inside, the wind was blowing dust so she closed the door not knowing the latch would lock her in.
Jamison says, “By the time I became aware I couldn’t open the door – everyone was gone. So I thought ‘okay, one night.’ But then the next day they come early and start up the semis. I have no idea what they all do but it’s loud. I lost my voice from screaming.”
Jamison slept on a couch in the back of her unit, and ate popcorn and black jellybeans to survive.
Her cellphone had died Tuesday evening.
It was cold and dark in her storage unit.
She used her flashlight until its batteries ran out.
She adds, “I kept praying wondering where are you…but no? I’m a known survivor and I never give up.”
She gained her voice back on Friday and an on–site worker that morning heard her cries.
Police later arrived and did not find feces all over the unit like some rumors claim.
She used a white tall kitchen garbage can to relieve herself.
Jamison says that she spent the 3 days mostly sleeping.
