UND Students Keep “No Confidence” in President Kelly’s Administration

UND students and administration are preparing to continue the no confidence resolution discussion.
The meeting is an effort to diffuse the current on-going conflict surrounding possible tuition rises.
KVRR’s Brittany Ford has the story.
Why did UND get to this point?
That is the question that many are asking around campus.
A meeting is set for Wednesday to find a resolution.
What began as a question of transparency in possible tuition raises has turned into an on-going conflict between student government and administration.
“It just kind of makes me little nervous I’m kind of one of those people like can’t we all just get along type of deal.”
The back and forth has fueled discussion on campus and social media. Ugly tweets were exchanged between an administrator and student.
“And it’s in this ballroom on Wednesday afternoon where UND student government and administration will be coming together to hopefully finding a resolution.”
After speaking to both parties, one thing that is hoped to be accomplished in the meeting is a good open line of communication.
“President Kelly and his administration look forward to working with student government and all UND Students to have good open channels of communication.”
“Somehow going forward if we can increase communication between our administration and between our students as well as our faculty and staff members.”
UND is encouraging anyone who wants to voice their concerns to attend the meeting.
