Police Announce New Street Crimes Unit

A major new collaboration is about to be announced by local law enforcement.
They are starting a street crimes unit.

Fargo Police Chief Todd and Cass County Sheriff Laney will reveal the details at a press conference on Thursday at 2 at the Main Library.

Their departments will join forces with West Fargo, Moorhead, Clay County, the BCI and Attorney General to focus on growing crime concerns in the metro.

There are concerns about a growing gang problem along with a string of robberies and human trafficking.
