Police Investigating Death Of UND Student

Grand Forks police are investigating the death of a student near the UND campus.

Authorities and Altru Ambulance responded to a call Saturday around 9 in the morning at the 500 block of Cambridge Street.

They tried to revive 22-year-old Alex Christopher Davis from West Saint Paul but he was unresponsive.

Paramedics transported him to Altru Hospital but he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the autopsy was done this morning. The investigation is still ongoing.
