Get Your “Can” on the Bus: MATBUS Celebrates Earth Week

Go green and catch a free ride on the bus.
 
MATBUS celebrates Earth Week by inviting people to participate in earth-friendly activities.

The company is pushing for the community to go green and is leading by example.

They recently added five new clean diesel buses that is Eco-friendly.

And for this week only, you can ride free with one empty aluminum can per ride.

“I think there’s always a new group of people who need to be educated on the greenness of riding the bus. especially since people don’t realize that it is very good for the environment,” says MATBUS manager Lori Van Beek.
 
Proceeds for the recycling cans will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
