Native Americans Show Off Their Heritage
An annual Native American event is creating buzz in the community.
The 26th Annual POW–WOW Event is held at Concordia College.
The event consisted of dancing, music and more than ten vendors.
The grand entrance demonstrated many different outfits and dance moves that are related to the heritage.
In past years, the POW–WOW has drawn in thousands of guests.
This event is held to celebrate the culture of regional Indian tribes.
“We have such a diverse population in the Fargo Moorhead area and native Americans are part of that diversity and we welcome everybody here just to have a good time, you know.”
Concordia, MSUM, M State and NDSU were all sponsors of the event.
