Students For Life bring a national pro–life display tour to NDSU.

As Students For Life members were handing out project fliers some confused it with Planned Parenthood.

Pro-Life student Olivia Johnson says, “I guess that’s a nice draw to get them here and get the information in their hands and take a look because a lot of people don’t understand that Planned Parenthood performs abortions.”

The group’s Planned Parenthood Project displayed testimonials from former employees as well as billboards stating the clinic receives $528–million annually in government funding and makes $150.6–million from abortions.

Students For Life Regional Coordinator Angela Erickson says, “According to whistle blowers who have left Planned Parenthood, they actually have abortion quotas and most people don’t realize that Planned Parenthood is pushing for abortion.”

915–pink crosses represent the number of unborn children that die each day inside the clinics across the country.

While many Planned Parenthood facilities are located close to college campuses, only 59% of 18 to 24–year–olds actually know the clinic performs abortions.

Erickson says, “This is their target market and we want to inform them that they have other options and that Planned Parenthood is exploiting these women and we want to redirect their business.”

But some students still believe in the right to choose especially for those who are victims of sexual violence.

Pro-Choice student Brooke Billadeau says, “I want to have the choice if I want to be a mom someday. Not have it like thrust upon me.”

Students for Life is the largest youth pro–life organization in the country.
