Hornbacher’s Presents Check

 Hornbacher’s is helping the Great Plains Food Bank provide meals for people in need around the region.
 
They presented over $42,000 to the food bank thanks to their Feed Hope Campaign.

The grocery stores employees asked customers to round up their purchases by $1, $3 or $5 for the campaign in December.

The campaign has been running since 2011.

“The food that we help to feed hungry people with comes from organizations like Hornbacher’s so this is a huge impact and we’re talking over 420,000 meals that we’ll be able to provide because of this single donation here today,” said Great Plains Food Bank Director Steve Sellent.

Since 2011, the program has raised more than $150,000.
