Semi Driver Hits Concrete Pillar
A semi driver from Horace says he may have fallen asleep at the wheel before crashing into a concrete pillar on I-94.
The accident happened in the noon hour about 20 miles west of Jamestown.
Sixty-two-year-old Robert Olson wasn’t hurt but his semi suffered around $50,000 in damage.
The Highway Patrol says Olson left the interstate, narrowly missing a guardrail before driving up an embankment and hitting a concrete pillar.
The accident is under investigation.
