Free Tax Prep Options In North Dakota

The North Dakota Tax Commissioner is encouraging people to use free tax preparation sites.

Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger is promoting more than 35 free tax preparation sites for taxpayers in the state.

Professionals at the sites will help with state and federal taxes for free.

The sites are for those with low to moderate income, individuals with a disability and for the elderly.

“One of the best things about the sites is they’ll walk you through your return. They’ll make sure that you don’t have any errors. They’ll help guide you to make the best decisions for deductions, you know itemizing and whatnot,” said
Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger.
