Car Crashes Through Window into Fargo Beauty School
A car crashed through a large window of a salon school in south Fargo.
The crashed happened just after 12:30 this afternoon at The Salon Professional Academy on 15th Avenue South.
Salon owner Jodi Ellingson says a customer was trying to park when her flip-flop got stuck under the accelerator.
The car crashed into the main salon area of the building.
No one was hurt.
Most of the students were at lunch, so the area was empty.
Ellingson says it could have been a lot worse.
“I just head the screaming, and it was like an explosion,” she explains. “I heard a student yell there’s somebody under the car, but after getting up closer it was just a mannequin head.”
It took firefighters and a tow crew nearly an hour to get the car out of the salon.
Ellingson say they hope to be open and ready for class in the morning.
