Harlem Globetrotters Share ABCs of Bullying
The Harlem Globetrotters travel across the country just to share some smiles.
Students at Grace Lutheran School did just that.
It’s all part of the Great Assist initiative where Harlem Globetrotters will do what they can to spread smiles and positive messages in every community.
One of the globetrotters stopped by the metro to tell kids about the ABCs of bullying.
The presentation covered how to take action against a bully, how to be brave, and of course also including a few tricks.
“I think it’s a good opportunity for us to be able to use our magnetism and that power for good so to speak and a lot of kids they’re able to look at me after I shared my story with them about how I was bullied when i was their age and they look at me and say if he was able to make it through it and he plays for the world’s most famous team maybe I can too,” says Harlem Globetrotter, Zeus McClurkin.
“He started basketball in 11th grade that’s surprising. Yeah probably dream big, especially for basketball dream big,” says Grace Lutheran School Student, Housten Visto.
Zeus’s next stop is Grand Forks.
The Globetrotters will be at Scheels Arena in Fargo on Friday.
