Spooky Science is Back!
Kids at the Fargo library are getting dose of science… spooky science that is.
It’s the Spooky Science day at the Fargo Main Library.
Kids make monster faced paintings with shaving cream and bubbly fountains with dry ice.
It’s all to get kids familiar with their local library and spark interest in science.
“There’s a lot of science anxiety around at the moment where people just think they can’t do science, they’re not good enough, or it’s just too complicated and we went to dismiss some of that anxiety and just get kids excited about science. A lot of that is just about going out and doing really hands on stuff,” says event leader Dr. Graeme R.A. Wyllie.
The Spooky Science Program is part of Concordia College’s outreach program.
It’s been in place for the last eight years.
