North Dakota House Candidate Fighting DUI Charges

A Republican candidate for North Dakota House has requested a jury trial for DUI charges.

Emily O’Brien was arrested for driving under the influence in late July.

She is running for the house seat in District 42 in Grand Forks.

O’Brien’s case was moved from municipal court to district court after she requested a jury trial.

Her next court date is set for November.
