Authorities Warn About Dangers Of Hoverboards After House Fire
Authorities are warning about the possible fire danger of hoverboards after a house fire last month in Spicer, Minnesota.
Authorities suspect a hoverboard that was being charged caused the fire that injured a woman and killed four dogs.
The State Fire Marshal’s office is asking hoverboard owners to check if their board is among more than 500,000 that are being recalled.
Investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s office say hoverboards with lithium ion battery packs pose a risk of smoking, catching fire or exploding.
