Churches United Names New Executive Director
Churches United for the Homeless has a new executive director.
Shelter officials announced their selection of Sue Koesterman, who’s a pastor at Elim Lutheran Church in Fargo.
Officials say Koesterman helped launch the F-M Sheltering churches program which opens church doors to overflow clients from the shelter for overnight lodging.
She said securing long-term affordable housing in the metro is one of her goals.
“Stable housing solutions have been a passion of mine for a long time and I’m excited to be taking on those issues as part of this wonderful organization,” said Koesterman.
She assumes her new role May 16th.
