Officer Injured at West Fargo Hotel; K-9 Officer Takes Suspect Down

An officer checking on a man wearing a black ski mask in a car outside of Element Hotel is assaulted.

Officers were sent to the hotel in West Fargo around three o’clock this afternoon.

They say Donivan Weis assaulted an officer during a struggle.

He ran but was caught by K-9 Disco.

Another suspect, Mitchell Miller, also ran but was caught.

He was booked on possession of meth and other drug charges.

Weis was treated at Essentia before being booked on meth charges, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.

The officer was treated and released.
