Fargo Keeps Winning: City Ranked Number 1 in USA Today Poll

USA Today is finally getting the message:

They recently released a story in which Fargo is number one in the nation for best small college towns.

In the little town that’s made winning a way of life lately:

“I’ve just fallen in love with the town. I think it’s a great place for everybody, actually,” said Dan Anderson, who’s from Chicago.

Even the kids from the big cities aren’t surprised.

Fargo is once again number one.

“It’s just a really nice place to be. And I never thought I’d like it as much as did,” said Amelia Everson from Hastings, Minnesota.

“I love going to school here. Toured the U of M, and it was just too big, too overwhelming,” said student Marissa Muner.

That tight-knit, hometown-team feel we all love so much.

“It’s a bigger smaller town. But it has that college feel to it,” said Dylan Gress, from Dickinson.

It wasn’t something the best-town list could measure.

Instead, it gave us major points for tangibles.

Low unemployment and quality of life.

“It’s a lot easier to get around, good public transportation for both campuses,” said Amelia.

One of the criteria on the list was the length of commute, which Fargo-Moorhead always does well on.

Think about it: in how many other places can you say a commute from one city to another is literally only steps away?

“Everything is available here. And if there’s nothing to do, we can go to Fargo,” said

Fargo: where scoring high is the name of the game.

Unless, of course, you’re talking temperature.

“I wouldn’t mind going down south to feel what it’s like to be warm all year.”

Oh well.

Can’t win ’em all.

That’s not all.

Grand Forks ranked number five and Aberdeen, South Dakota ranked second.
