Skaters Prepping for Season-Ending Ice Show in Moorhead
Nearly 200 skaters lace ’em up to cap off the ice skating season.
Skaters are rehearsing for this weekend’s Moorhead Ice Show.
The theme is “Nine to Five”, with skaters showcasing different jobs and careers.
Skaters as young as three-years-old will show off their skills.
A nationally competing pairs team from Florida will also take the ice.
Organizers say it’s the perfect way to wrap up the season.
“This is my favorite weekend, probably, of the entire year,” says skating coach Dawn Franklin. “I grew up skating in this ice show myself, and to me, directing now and making all these kids have the best weekend of their lives is really exciting. “
The show runs Friday and Saturday at 7 P.M. and Sunday at 1 P.M. at the Moorhead Sports Center.
