Kvalvogs Claim Inconsistent Statements Made By Coach in Fatal Crash
Ray and Kathie Kvalvog are calling out head Park Christian basketball coach Josh Lee for his inconsistent statements regarding the fatal crash that killed their sons Zach and Connor last summer.
They say everyday there seems to be just a little bit more information that is getting them closer to the truth.
For Ray and Kathie Kvavlog, June 23rd 2015 is a day that still carries deep wounds.
It’s the day they lost both of their sons after their truck overturned as they were attempting to pass a semi on I-94.
The Kvalvogs say they still need to know what happened that day.
“There’s two people that know the answer to that, and that’s the head-basketball coach of Park Christian High, and that’s the semi-truck driver he or she,” said Ray Kvalvog.
Ray says a radio appearance on KFGO is to get those two people to speak up.
He says there have been frustrations with Park Christian head basketball coach Josh Lee.
“Not coming forward and giving his side of the story, because after his initial testimony all the information that we’ve had subsequently to that is not matching his testimony,” said Ray.
Lee has not commented on the family’s latest statements.
Ray says they need his help to connect the dots.
“Maybe something even that he could possibly help us with, look at pictures of trucks, see if he could recall anything,” said Ray.
He says as far as the semi driver, they just want he or she to come forward.
“We just need to the person to speak to us, and tell us they were impeded in anyway…is maybe he doesn’t know anything,” said Ray.
The Kvalvog’s are still offering a $50,000 reward for any information that helps bring the investigation to a final close.
