Dittmer Apologizes for Sexual Assault on 14-year-old Classmate

A former Moorhead High School hockey standout is required to register as a sex offender after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 14–year–old classmate.

Jacob Dittmer was sentenced in Clay County court to another 20 days behind bars plus 5 years probation.

Court records say the girl’s parents called police to report he sneaked into their home late one night last summer to have sex with the girl.

The victim’s parents alleged in a court statement he used Snapchat to stalk his young classmate, who they say they didn’t know prior to the sexual assault.

Dittmer apologized in court.
