Frostival Celebrates a Successful Weekend
Plans for next year’s Frostival are already underway after a successful weekend wraps up.
The mission behind Frostival is to remind people across the metro that winter can still be fun.
From sled racing to saunas and even a polar plunge people kept busy.
While mother nature was extra kind this weekend, officials say for next year: the colder the better.
“Smashing success. I feel so happy all of the community got involved I’ve seen families, college kids, grandparents, and single people. It’s been really great because I feel like we were able to find things for everybody throughout the weekend,” says Stephonie Broughton with FM Visitors Bureau.
Event leaders will use community member feedback to make next year’s Frostival even better.
The park district says it plans to make it an annual winter tradition.
