Heart Ball Celebrates Saving Lives
Survivors, physicians and community members join together for the annual Red River Valley Heart Ball.
The fundraiser celebrates survivors and their stories while also raising money for the American Heart Association.
The event expects to bring in more than $100,000.
Funds will support grants and lifesaving research helping doctors keep saving lives.
“Without the research, without all the studies that have been done at the American Heart Association I can’t be doing my job. The stint I’m using 15 years ago was not the same,” says Dr. Yassar Almanaseer.
The Heart Ball is presented by Essentia Health and includs everything from live auctions to a heart healthy dinner.
This is the 20th year for the event.
