Frazee High School in Need of a Commons Area

Officials at Frazee High School are doing all they can to create a commons area for their students.

They currently have to sit in hallways and benches in between classes.

As an alternative, the school is trying to turn its wrestling room into a commons area, which will require a new wrestling facility.

The school is still in the beginning stages of the project, but have one major setback: money.

“We’re looking for assistance, were looking for assistance from foundations. We’re looking for assistance from the city. Some support from the school district. So were looking and checking into anything and everything that we can, but some of this we are going to need some help from some foundations,” said Terry Karger, Frazee-Vergas Superintendent.

The two phase project is estimated to cost just around $3 million.
