Police Searching for Suspects in Crash Near Enderlin

K9s tracked their scent for about a mile but couldn't find the suspects

 

ENDERLIN, ND — A search is underway in North Dakota for two out-of-state suspects who ran into a corn field after a crash on Sunday.

Highway Patrol officers say two people in an SUV rear-ended a pickup on state Highway 46 near Enderlin.

Authorities say the 32-year-old woman and the 31-year-old man in the SUV drove a few miles away from the scene before abandoning their vehicle and running into the corn field.

K9s tracked their scent for about a mile but couldn’t find the suspects.

The 71-year-old pickup driver had non-life threatening injuries.
