Douglas County Boy Dies After Rollover UTV Crash

The passenger was able to get free to get help but Dingwall died at the scene

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Minn. — A Douglas County boy has died after a UTV rollover crash in Millerville Township.

The Sheriff’s Office says nine-year-old Jon Dingwall Jr. was driving the UTV with a 10-year-old female passenger on the slope of a hayfield on Gravel Pit Road.

The UTV rolled, pinning both children under it.

The passenger was able to get free to get help but Dingwall died at the scene.

The passenger was taken to the hospital and is in fair condition.
