Retirement Isn’t Stopping These Artists

The Bemidji based group, Studio 10, is still practicing their craft and most of its artists are well over the age of 65.

The artists celebrated their exhibit’s opening weekend at the Rourke Art Museum, featuring a variety of different works all fitting with the theme of Northern Artistry.

“When we do some shows we sit down and critique our work that’s the other benefit of a group of artists and we may select a theme and work toward that theme,” says Studio 10 Artist, Don Houseman.

The artists feature a variety of works from ink drawings to large sculptures.

The exhibit will be open to the public through February 14th.
