Fargo Police Warn of Another Ticket Scam Hitting the Metro
Fargo Police said it is not their policy to issue "e-cites" and to "disregard or delete" the scam email.

FARGO, ND — Fargo Police said if you receive an email, stating you have to pay a fee or a fine for any kind of violation, please do not click on any links or go to pay the ticket.
The department put out a warning on social media to warn people this is not a ticket issued through them.

The email states you have so much time to pay a violation or you will face worse consequences.
It is just another scam to hit the metro in the last few weeks in an effort to take money from unsuspecting people.
