Survey Says Fargoans Want Single Stream Recycling

Fargo Solid Waste is conducting a study after a public survey on changing to single stream recycling.

68 percent say they would be interested in switching to a “no sort” recycling program.

3,000 people responded to the online survey.

The city of Fargo currently offers a free curbside recycling program.

If the city decides to implement the single stream recycling there will be a small monthly fee for residents.

The feasibility study should be completed by the end of the month and presented to elective officials.
