Park Christian Students Go Head to Head in Geography Bee

You may have heard of a heard of Spelling Bee contest, but what about a Geography Bee?

Some fourth through eight graders at Park Christian in Moorhead participated in the 2016 National Geographic Bee.

Four of the top geography students from each grade level competed.

Students were quizzed on major geographic features from all across the world including things like rivers, continents, and famous landmarks.

“You know it’s fun to see different kids shine in different areas. So some really shine in the basketball court in the volleyball court, and this gives our kids a chance who really wants to shine in the area of academics, and specifically geography,” said Principal Chris Nellermoe.
 
The Geography Bee has been annual tradition at Park Christian for more than ten years.
