Fargo Housing Market Looks Promising For The New Year

If you’re thinking of selling your home, 2016 might be the year.
 
2015 was a strong year for the housing market and realtors predict it to continue.

Property values have been continuing to increase in the past few years, making it a sellers’ market.

But you might want to start planning.

Between March and April is the busiest time for homes going on the market.

“Interest rates are a little higher than previous but not significantly we’re hovering right around 4%. With the property values also having increased in the last couple of years I think the combination of the two may spark some people in wanting to sell,” says Park Company Real Estate Agent Deborah Nichols.

Nichols says last year was a hot market.

She says many houses sold within three days of being listed. She says while realtors are expecting a good market, they are preparing for anything.
