Altru Health System Gives $10 Million for Altru Sports Complex in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Taking a page out of Fargo’s playbook, Grand Forks is planning to build a multi sports complex.
It will be called the Altru Sports Complex after a very generous $10 million commitment from Altru Health System.
The complex would be supported through private funding and a proposed sales tax extension and located south of the Alerus Center.
Mayor Brandon Bochenski says it would help with quality of life which is a big factor when it comes to growing and retaining workforce.
The three-quarter cent sales tax extension vote will be held from 7-7 on Tuesday, November 14 at Alerus Center.
