DOUGLAS COUNTY, Minn. (KVRR) – People passing by pull an elderly couple out of a burning car after a crash in Douglas County, Minnesota.

The Sheriff’s Office says a car drove off the road and hit a large pine tree on County Road 4 near Little Mary Circle Southwest.
There were two people in the car, 92-year-old John Plusa and 86-year-old Mary Plusa, both from rural Alexandria.
By the time emergency crews got there, several people helped pull them from the car, which had started on fire.
They were taken to Alomere Hospital. Mary was later taken to St. Cloud. Both of them are in stable condition.
