MSUM celebrates 2023 Giving Day

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Minnesota State University Moorhead is celebrating their 2023 Giving Day with many programs and departments across the campus help bring in donations.

“MSUM giving day is just a great day for the MSUM community to come together, whether it’s students, faculty, staff, alumni or just the community to give back to the students. To help support the students that we serve.” said Steve Sjoberg of the MSUM Foundation.

Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising challenge that benefits the students at the university. Last year, they were able to raise over $440,000 through 1,100 donors.

Their goal this year is to raise $500,000.
