Showcasing the best of the 701 with the Pride of Dakota

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Pride of North Dakota once again made the trip to Fargo, as the Scheels Arena played host for the holiday showcase. From food, art, to products, there is a lot to show off representing North Dakota.

“I think a lot of people want to buy local. They look for local,” said Katie Huizenga, a Pride of Dakota Specialist. “A lot of times they come in here and go ‘Oh my gosh’ I didn’t know there was this much stuff. I didn’t know all these people are from North Dakota and do all of this. It’s just nice to highlight the talent that we have here in North Dakota.”

Pride of North Dakota say they see around 9,000-13,000 visitors each year for the showcase.
