Funeral set for Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputy

STANTON, N.D. (KVRR) – The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office has provided details on the upcoming funeral for Deputy Paul Martin. Martin died in the line of duty on December 6.

Info from the MCSO:

Funeral services will be conducted beginning at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Beulah High School, 204 5th St NW. Due to limited seating the funeral will be livestreamed. The video livestream will be aired on local North Dakota television channels as well as online. Watch for
more information from media outlets. Doors at the Beulah High School will open to the public at 11:30 AM with final seating completed at 12:30 PM. The public is asked to use the northeast corner entrance, which is the district office (Door #7) and to park along the street due to limited parking lot spaces. For security purposes, no backpacks, large bags, or purses will be allowed.

Martin died during a police chase allegedly with Senator Kevin Cramer’s son, Ian.
