Supplies Arrive To Pack 10 Million Meals Next Month at Fargodome

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — All of the essential ingredients are now in place for next month’s Feed My Starving Children FargoPack mobile packing event.

The goal is to pack 10 million meals for starving kids around the globe.

A total of 44 trucks brought 26 loads of rice, eight loads of soy, two loads of vitamins, two loads of vegetables, along with cartons, pouches, empty pallets and other supplies to a local warehouse.

It will be moved to Fargodome for the packing event on January 5-15.

Anyone five and older can volunteer for two-hour packing shifts.

They say it will take around 50,000 volunteers and $3 million to make this record-breaking event a reality.
