Injured Owl On The Mend Thanks To EGF Police
A great horned owl is saved thanks to the East Grand Forks Police Department.
The department shared the story on its Facebook page.
Concerned citizens reported an injured owl early Friday on the south side of town.
Officers picked the owl up.
The bird is now being cared for by Tim Driscoll, with the Urban Raptor Research Center at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
Driscoll says he thinks the owl flew into a wire at some point and clipped its wing.
