MSUM Men's Basketball Slides From One to Five in Latest NABC Coaches Poll
MOORHEAD, MN. — MSUM Men’s Basketball lost their first game of the season on Saturday, falling to Sioux Falls 70 to 68. The Dragons now sit at 15 wins and just one loss but Saturday’s loss was enough to drop MSUM from number one down to number five in the latest NABC rankings. The Dragons 15-0 start tied the program record for the most wins to start a season. The 1970-71 team also won their first 15 games. The latest polls were released Monday afternoon. Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference rivals, Minnesota State remains unbeaten at 16-0.They move up from number two to No. 1. The Dragons dropped all the way to No. 5. The only other team from the NSIC is Minot State at No. 21.
