Fargo small business certified by National LGBT Chamber of Commerce

FARGO, N.D., (KVRR) – A Fargo small business is North Dakota’s first and only certified LGBT owned business.

Abovo was recently certified by the the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. It is a design, marketing, and creative agency that does photography, videography and much more.

The owner says that the certification is more of an affirmation that diversity is very important for businesses. Andrew Young, Owner and Founder of Abovo, said, “You want it to be a group of marketers that come from diverse backgrounds.”

Young also said, “Whether its age, gender, sexuality, religion, ethnic cultural backgrounds which is what we offer. Really the certification is reinforcing and illustrating an affirmation that something we hold, so special and dear, diversity is celebrated.”
