SWAT Team arrests man at Fargo hotel

FARGO (KVRR) – A man wanted for several outstanding warrants was taken into custody at a south Fargo hotel Wednesday.

The Red River Valley SWAT team assisted Fargo Police in arresting 46-year-old Edward Goulet.

The warrant was served at the Grand Inn, in the 3400-block of 14th Ave. South at around 5:30 a.m.

Police say they issued multiple commands for Goulet to come out of the hotel. The SWAT Team used a flash-sound diversionary device to create a distraction.

Goulet was taken to the Cass County Jail.  He is wanted for felonious restraint and other outstanding warrants.
