LIVE: High-Flying Horsepower With Monster Jam

The Fargodome will be filled with the roar of 1,500 horsepower engines flying through the air this weekend at Monster Jam

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Fargodome will be filled with the roar of 1,500 horsepower engines flying through the air this weekend.

Monster Jam is back with two shows on Saturday. You can see all the races and stunts at 1 and 7 p.m. Kids can get up-close with the trucks and meet the drivers at the Pit Party starting at 10:30 a.m.
Monster Jam fans in Fargo get a better show than other people around the country.
Ashley Sanford is in her second year driving Megalodon. She says the Fargodome is a favorite venue because it lets the drivers really hit the gas.

She explains, “Fargodome is absolutely unique because here we are on an arena tour where we’re used to being in hockey arenas. It’s tight quarters. Here in Fargo we’ve got a football-sized stadium that we get to play with inside. For me as a driver, I am all about getting big air, so this weekend is so special because we’re gonna be getting big air here in Fargo.”

She says you the trucks get from 5 to up to 10 more feet of air in Fargo than at other stops on the tour. Click here for ticket information. Check out the video above to see what it’s like to climb into a Monster Jam truck.
