Former Bank Manager Accused of Stealing $640,000 from Customer
A former manager at a West St. Paul bank branch is accused of stealing more than $640,000 from a customer’s account.
Cynthia Marie Van DuSartz of Eagan was charged in Dakota County District Court with four counts of theft by swindle.
She’s accused of transferring money from the customer’s account into a line of credit account.
A criminal complaint says the bank president suspects Van DuSartz also victimized other customers.
He says no customers will lose money.
