Fargo Woman Dies Days After Being Trapped in Apartment Fire
FARGO — A woman trapped in a late January apartment fire has died, according to Fargo city officials.
The victim, Connie M. Frodge, 65, died February 3rd.
She was transported to a regional medical facility for additional medical care after first being taken by Sanford Ambulance to a local facility on Sunday, January 28th, the day of the fire.
Fargo firefighters responded that day to the apartment fire at 3161 32nd Street South in Fargo at 6:05 p.m.
Fire crews found Frodge in an apartment and got her out.
The fire started in a bedroom within the apartment unit.
Its cause was improperly discarded smoking materials.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the cause and manner of Frodge’s death.
