Casey’s Robbery Suspect Caught in Ashby, MN

DOUGLAS CO., Minn. (KVRR) — The man accused of grabbing money from a Casey’s cash register in Hoffman, Minnesota is in custody.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office says the man walked into the convenience store on Thursday and asked the clerk to exchange coins for dollar bills.
When the register was opened, the suspect attempted to grab the cash tray.
The clerk tried to stop him but he forcibly grabbed the money and ran.
The vehicle used in the robbery was located in Ashby on Saturday and stopped by Grant and Douglas County deputies.
The suspect was taken into custody.
Charges are pending.
