Fargo City Commissioner John Strand To Seek Third and Final Term

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Fargo City Commissioner John Strand is seeking a third term.
Strand says he tries to be a voice for the people who aren’t represented, and that’s why he’s seeking another term.
Due to term limits, it would be his last term on the commission if re-elected.
Strand previously served eight years on the Fargo School Board.
He is the co-owner of the High Plains Reader newspaper in Fargo.
Deputy Mayor Arlette Preston’s seat is also up for election this year.
She has not indicted if she will run again.
Anna Johnson and Delson Saintal are running for a seat in the June 11 election.
