Battle Lake home destroyed by fire, family escapes without injuries
BATTLE LAKE, Minn. (KVRR) – Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says dispatch received a call shortly before noon on Sunday about a deck fire at the home on County Highway 83, northwest of Battle Lake.
Two adults and six young children living in the home got out safely. The house and most of the family’s belongings were destroyed.
The Battle Lake Fire, Underwood Fire Department, and Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
