Speakers Call For Cease-Fire Between Israel and Hamas at Fargo City Commission

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A number of people took to the podium during Fargo City Commission’s Resident Comments section to encourage the commission to call for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas.

Fargo Human Rights Commission passed such a resolution on February 15.

It is expected to be introduced to the commission in March.

Mayor Tim Mahoney thanked the speakers for their comments and said “we have heard you”.

He told them he is collaborating with metro government partners on potential steps forward.

The local chapter of CODEPINK is making the rounds of city meetings to express their anti-war views.
