Two arrested after West Fargo police pursuit that ended in Fargo

WEST FARGO (KVRR) – Two people were arrested following a pursuit early Friday that ended in Fargo.
The driver, 35-year-old Joel Maye was arrested on possession of a stolen vehicle, felony reckless endangerment, felony fleeing in a motor vehicle, as well as an outstanding warrant. The passenger, 34-year-old Kayla Patneaud was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
At around 1:50 AM on Friday, West Fargo Police attempted to make a traffic stop on the 800 block of Main Ave. E. The driver fled, evading multiple attempts by WFPD to stop the vehicle, before going off the road near the intersection of Main Ave. and University Ave. in Fargo.
Both the pickup and a West Fargo squad vehicle were damaged. Two tow trucks were used to remove the damaged vehicles.
Fargo Police assisted briefly, using several of their vehicles to shut down traffic on University Dr. while the tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.
